St. Vincent de Paul | Love Your Neighbor 5k | White River State Park
The rain subsided and the sun emerged just in time for runners to gear up for St. Vincent de Paul's annual Love Your Neighbor 5k. With breathtaking views of Indianapolis, participants embarked on either a 1-mile or 5k route at White River State Park, starting from the Indiana State Museum lawn. After the race, everyone was invited to the beer garden to enjoy an ice-cold beer or root beer. Kids had a blast with lawn games and balloon hats, adding to the festive atmosphere.
St. Vincent de Paul, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to addressing the basic physical needs of the most vulnerable in the Indianapolis community. They also provide educational courses and support to help break the cycle of poverty. All proceeds from the Love Your Neighbor 5k directly support their mission, aiding those in need within the community.
Indy Fuel's Nitro led runners through the start line.
