We aspired to create fine art winter wedding inspiration to show our Midwest brides that a gorgeous wedding is still within reach even during the colder months. There is something magical about this time of year, with everyone spending more time together over the holidays. There is a type of closeness that only comes during this cozy season. When planning your photos for your winter wedding, all that’s necessary is a venue boasting gorgeous natural light with touches of character.

We found that in the Neidhammer. It’s rich history paired with the love the owners poured into the restoration of the building set the stage for a warm, intimate day. Neidhammer’s event space, complete with a stage, provides a backdrop of hand-plastered walls in colors of grey, cream and light green. We love the versatility and openness to transform the space.

Old Forest Farm brought the day to life with rich texture, soft edges and over stated elements. The dried fauna, accented with white and mauve garden roses allowed the natural elements of the day to shine and remain true to the season.

A craft cocktail station set a top a vintage safe, dressed in soft draping fabric and overflowing in winter floral elements created something special for guests to enjoy. What’s more perfect for winter than a mulled hot cider?!

Mauve silk napkins with textured grey linen, were paired with feathery and romantic centerpieces in neutral mortars to add a cozy and intimate feel to the table scape. Each place setting was topped with an individual Croquembouche – because, who doesn’t love a little dessert, first?!

The cake, created by The Gallery Pastry Shop, displayed as a piece of fine art. Each layer created the perfect expression of the day when paired together. It was just as scrumptious as it is beautiful.

What better way to end this winter season inspriation than a surprise visit by Noel the Reindeer?! A memorable wedding moment for the bride and groom AND their guests.
