Laurel Hall | Indianapolis Wedding Design | Simona & Al
When I first met sweet Simona and her lovely mother over coffee, I couldn't wait to start planning this special wedding. Each meeting, phone call and email that followed was spent pouring over beautiful detail options and how we could make Simona and Al's Laurel Hall wedding dreams come true.
Simona envisioned a wedding that fit her personal taste and style that her guests and groom to be would also enjoy. Every detail was given warm thought as to how it would fit into the overall day. From the exit of their ceremony to Phish (the groom's all time favorite band) and the hops on the arbor/ in the groom's boutonniere, to invitations that stole her mom's heart, to hand picked nesting dolls for each bridesmaid and more. We had so much fun helping Simona choose a beautiful color palette and special details to match. When the wedding day finally arrived, family and friends came from across the globe to share in a day of love and celebrating Simona and Al.
The ladies arrived early to take full advantage of the beautiful bridal suite at Laurel Hall while the guys watched soccer in the board room. Wedding days tend to move quickly but Simona wanted to slow down and enjoy the moments of the morning with her mother and bridesmaids and take time to soak up some special moments after the first look with Al.
Laurel Hall, in it's European elegance, was dressed with floral in light pink, purple, burgundy and laden in greenery. The couple married on the terrace with a wedding arbor dripping in Protea, roses, hops and a custom macramé to tie. Simona looked absolutely stunning as she floated down the aisle in her Martina Liana gown with a train of lace, paired with her overflowing, romantic bouquet. We were delighted to see the groom's floral tie to match.
The reception kicked off with cocktail hour in the Solarium, followed by a grand entrance of the bride and groom down the staircase, escorting guests to dinner. After toasts of love, laughter and tears the couple led their guests to the terrace to cut their cake and dance their first dance as husband and wife.
Special dances, a delectable dessert bar and more celebrations ensued. A sparkler exit to an antique limousine sent the bride and groom out in style.
Simona - I loved assisting you and Olga in planning your wedding day and ensuring it all ran smoothly. It was a beautiful, dreamy day. I look forward to watching your love story grow. -To many more "cups of tea"!
