Charlotte Hall Indianapolis | HGTV Wedding | Mel & Curtis
Mel and Curtis are an adventurous couple who planned their dreamy Boho wedding in Fountain Square! If you watch HGTV (be honest, we all do) you might remember this couple from Good Bones, Risky Business. Planned at a Victorian home that was under construction by friend Mina Starsiak, the couple set on an adventure to plan a dreamy day at a newly created venue option for couples in Indianapolis. With many pivots and pauses throughout the construction process, Mel and Curtis were able to hold their ceremony at Charlotte Hall.
You can watch the full season of the show to watch it all unfold on HGTV here.

Mel wore two wedding gown's. The first was a thick lace with detached sleeves from The Wedding Studio.
Pomp and Bloom beautifully brought together classic meets boho whimsy for Mel's winter boho bridal bouquet.
The wedding party wore velvet and tweed for this cozy winter wedding in Indianapolis.
The couple had a first look on the intricate entry stairs created by Iron Timbers on Good Bones, Risky Business on HGTV.
Aren't they adorable? Boho meets Victorian. HELLO!
There are so many things you don't see on the show. Secret's out, now! Mel and Curtis are very dear friends of mine so this wedding was extra special. As a bridesmaid and the Indianapolis wedding planner, this wedding is one that takes the cake (or should we say croquembouche?!).
Pomp and Bloom installed an arch at the ceremony with hanging orbs from the tented cieling and aisle floral to bring life and all the boho vibes to his tented winter wedding. We transferred all the ceremony floral to the reception to make the most out of these stunning floral pieces.
The bride had an epic dress change between the ceremony at Charoltte Hall Indianapolis and the reception. The couple and wedding party took photos around Indianapolis and at the venues that the groom, Curtis owns: Tini and Almost Famous as well as Mel's salon, Witch Hazel.
Mel took her second bridal look to another level when she had the seamstress cut a deep V in the front of her wedding dress. We were covering our eyes (and of course peeking though our fingers), as the seamstress cut the wedding gown right before our eyes. She looked stunning in it! A great lesson in doing what feels right for your day.
While the couple took photos, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the main house at Charlotte Hall. A shuttle then transported guests from Charlotte hall the reception venue.
Instead of a traditional cake, the couple opted for a Croquembouche and mini desserts from Gallery Pastry Bar.
We danced. We cheers'd. We celebrated. To Mel & Curt!
Thank you for having us, as a part of your adventure! #MoreCheers
