Magnolia Gardens | Charleston Wedding Planner | Southern Wedding Inspiration
“These gardens are designed to speak directly to the soul, “ Magnolia Plantation.
Where emotion rules and reason can be thrown into the low country breeze.
Entering the narrow drive to Magnolia Plantation and Garden, the property is lined by Spanish Moss Trees. A preview of what’s to come on the plantation, boasting the oldest public gardens in the United States. The rows of trees create the most magical ambiance; sunlight trickles in through natural shading as limbs cross over one another above.
As Seen In:
Soft fabrics of blush, champagne and ivory drape the centuries old Oak Trees dripping in Spanish Moss, adding to their already magical beauty. The Social Spool created custom fabric for a glamorous and intimate wedding ceremony, drawing to the allure of the natural backdrop. Noah, The Bearded Florist, complimented the draping with garlands of greenery.
We chose to dine under the shade, adding elements of floating, hanging floral by The Bearded Florist. This custom instillation emulated the abundant Spanish moss on property adding weeping green elements to draw the floral into the tablescape. A show stopping piece to an inviting and elegant dinner setting. Guests were welcomed to dinner with perfect mini coconut cakes from Delicious Desserts, as well as a sparkling and still rose to compliment the gentle elements of the table. What’s better than dessert first? Dessert with rose!
Peacocks across the property could be heard cooing with us as we cheered for Becky and Drew. One even joined us during sunset portraits so show off his beautiful feathers and pose for a photo with the couple. Becky and Drew were in Charleston, shortly after moving to the jewel of the south. Chloe Luka and I were elated to create a romantic, glamorous day focused on the the couple. We hope they will cherish these images for a lifetime of love!
